Questions & answers

Over the years of the transition, settlements in Bulgaria lost many of the advantages that made them good places to live, with this process occurring mainly during the last 20 years. Excessive development in some places and depopulation in others have led more and more Bulgarians to decide to move abroad or buy holiday properties there.

This gave rise to the idea of creating a settlement built entirely of properties featuring Bulgarian architecture (the latest such house is designed in a medieval style), meeting all the requirements for a good quality of life and providing opportunities for development that are not available even in the largest cities. Thus was born the idea for the village of Neofit Rilski, which is located next to the Historical Park and in immediate proximity to a motorway connecting it with the city of Varna. It is also very close to an international airport, a seaport, a railway station, and a major bus station. All these conditions provide the necessary opportunity to implement this large-scale project and make it beneficial to the country, the population, and the investors who will participate in its realization. In order for this idea to be implemented, it is necessary to exercise control over the real estate market and prevent everyone from doing whatever they wish in a way that undermines the efforts and investments of the initial investors, while protecting the interests of all involved. Therefore, the process began with the acquisition of properties in the village in order to create the necessary conditions for constructing a sufficient number of houses and buildings in a medieval Bulgarian architectural style. In this way, every additional house that is built will make the environment much more beautiful for both living and visiting. One of the objectives is for the village to become an architectural reserve where visitors can enjoy exceptionally beautiful architecture that cannot be seen anywhere else. It is equally important to create sufficient green areas and parks to increase the comfort of living and staying there. This is a difficult task that must begin to be implemented from the outset, because growing trees and creating beautiful park spaces takes time.

The village has natural farming, providing residents with access to the best-quality food. Construction has begun on sports halls, football fields, tennis courts, table tennis halls, wrestling halls, and boxing gyms. Administrative buildings are also being constructed where various companies will be able to develop their activities, enabling young people to remain and develop here rather than migrate to Bulgaria's large cities or abroad.

A modern kindergarten and a vocational school of commerce and entrepreneurship are being built. Restaurants and conference halls are being developed, providing opportunities to organize numerous local and tourist events. Reconstruction of the local community cultural center is beginning, a market for natural products is being created, and construction is starting on an equestrian center and facilities for breeding and raising birds of prey and domestic birds. Various campsites are being developed, and autonomous sources of electricity generation are being created exclusively on industrial sites. Independent water sources are being developed for each house, with high-quality treatment systems for both incoming and outgoing water. Heating in the village is provided exclusively by heat pumps, thereby maximizing energy efficiency and preserving clean air.

Gradually, vehicles in the settlement are being replaced exclusively with electric cars and vans that produce less noise, do not pollute the air, and can be powered by electricity generated at the parking facilities.

Illegal waste disposal and speeding are being regulated, while driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances is prohibited. The distribution and use of drugs are being stopped, and parking in unauthorized places is prohibited. A dedicated petrol station, vehicle repair shop, and car wash are also being built. Overall, the aim is to ensure that this settlement has everything a modern person needs, but more importantly, that there is order and comprehensive planning. This will make the village of Neofit Rilski a preferred place for living and recreation not only in Bulgaria but throughout the Balkan Peninsula, attracting outside customers and increasing property values. Those who have invested will have made a sound investment that they can either realize financially or benefit from by living in what is intended to become the best place for life and development in the Balkans.

It is extremely important for the implementation of this plan to reach the necessary number of residential and industrial buildings in order to generate strong and sustained interest among consumers.

Unfortunately, this is precisely what has been constrained by the continuous attacks by the authorities and their commissioned media outlets, bloggers, and various activists. Because of the negative image that was created, people began to fear investing in and purchasing property in Neofit Rilski – either because they might be ridiculed by their friends or because the development of the village might be stopped. This is also the reason why the “ZASHTITNITSITE” Cooperative initially became involved in this economy and supported it. In this way, both the profit and the social impact will be substantial, while resistance will be offered to the mafia-oligarchic system in our Homeland.
