Questions & answers

To join the Cooperative, you need to complete three simple steps:

1. Submission of a Membership Application

The application for cooperative membership can be completed in two ways:

  • Online: Directly through the Cooperative's website.
  • On paper: You can download a template from the website, complete and scan it, and then send it to our official email address. The original paper copy must be submitted to a representative of the Cooperative.

2. Payment of the Contributions Required for Joining

Joining involves three types of contributions, which can be paid by bank transfer (with the payment order sent to our email address) or in cash against a receipt:

  • One-time admission fee: €150 (used to cover the costs of establishing and developing the Cooperative).
  • Share contribution: The minimum amount is €500, and above this amount you may participate with contributions in multiples of €50 (e.g. €750, €1,000, €2,500, etc.). There is no upper limit on the share contribution.
  • Annual membership fee: It is equal to 2% of the selected share contribution.

Example of the total amount for the minimum participation: With a share contribution of €500, an annual membership fee of €10 and a €150 admission fee are payable. The total amount payable is €660. (Accordingly, with a share contribution of €2,500, the membership fee will be €50).

A cooperative is a voluntary association of individuals with variable capital and a variable number of members who, through mutual assistance and cooperation, carry out activities to satisfy their economic, social, and cultural interests. It is established by numerous economic participants with the aim of successfully competing with large-scale capital.

The Cooperative operates as a legal entity and functions on the principles of mutual assistance, democratic governance, and distribution of profits according to the participation of its members.

Cooperatives operate on the basis of the Cooperatives Act, which defines the conditions governing their establishment, management, membership, liability, and termination.

General Assembly – the supreme governing body, which makes all major decisions concerning the activities of the Cooperative.

Management Board – responsible for the operational management of the Cooperative's activities.

Supervisory Board – oversees compliance with the law and the Articles of Association of the Cooperative.

Attendance at general meetings is not mandatory; however, it is important to note that every convened general meeting has a precise and clear pre-announced agenda, based on which members can decide whether their participation is important to them.

Specific financial results and profits from the activities of the "ZASHTITNICITE" Cooperative cannot be guaranteed or predicted in advance, as the organization is currently in its launch phase and actively expanding its operations.

Please take into account the following important economic factors:

  • Realistic returns on minimal participation: Due to the highly accessible threshold for entering the cooperative, a minimal share contribution is not intended or expected to generate rapid or large absolute profits.

For example, even if a high annual return of 10% is achieved, the net financial result for a member with a minimal share would amount to approximately EUR 50 for the year.

  • Long-term horizon and scale: Gaining more substantial financial results is a long-term process. It requires time and depends directly on accumulating a critical mass of like-minded members.

  • Strategic objective: To fully unleash the mission and potential of the cooperative, it is necessary to reach a critical membership base of at least 10,000 cooperative members, a milestone expected to be achieved within a few years.
