We are an active part of Bulgaria's civil society—a diverse community of proactive individuals who feel connected to the bigger picture. For over ten years, the Vetrino Municipality has been developing not only as an agricultural region but also as a successful tourist and educational hub, becoming a wonderful environment for living. The capital of this process is the village of Neofit Rilski—a place known as an 'island of normalcy' that attracts thousands of people and inspires the revival of life in Bulgarian villages with a deep care for nature. This significant influx of young and awake individuals motivates us to build the world we want to exist in by ourselves, making up for everything we missed in the big cities. We are a cultural community that improves its way of life through self-initiative, education, entrepreneurship, landscaping, and weekend volunteering. We organize joint improvements for our living areas and realize socially beneficial activities because we believe that change begins right where we live.

Our Steps to Success

Although we constantly call for development, we often face repression from the authorities. However, this does not stop us from standing up for our vision, which—while carrying a hint of a healthy utopia—remains entirely grounded in reality and our desire for a better future. We are creating a magnet for other repressed, proactive, and enterprising individuals who have been forced to leave the country or have closed their businesses in Bulgaria.

The only way to financially support the creation of a sound economic model is through a cooperative. It is essential that only aware and committed people participate in it—people who will not seek short-term results, but will pursue long-term development for the benefit of society and the cooperative members.

The people who believe in the Cooperative and the projects surrounding it have demonstrated public support from more than 100,000 people, and that support continues to grow over time. People with shared beliefs, goals, and direction. The most important thing is not simply to have support when you are facing a problem, nor merely to be able to mobilize people in difficult times. True strength is knowing that these people stand by you in both good times and difficult times.
